As experienced chefs with over 30 years combined creating flavorful meals between us, we are eager to share our passion for fresh and exciting foods with you and your family or friends.  Whether it’s for a special get together, a personal chef for your vacation home, or weekly meal preparation to ease your busy schedule, we promise friendly, professional service at affordable prices. We take the word “personal” in our name seriously and promise to do our very best to meet your individual meal needs, as we search for the freshest ingredients, using locally grown products whenever possible.                                               

chef mauricio and toriCHEF MAURICIO: From Apaxtla, Guerrero, just west of Acapulco, Chef Mauricio spent 18 years in the United
States, cooking at quality restaurants in Door County, Wisconsin.  These  include Trio Restaurant, Villagio’s Italian Restaurant, and The Glidden Lodge, whose owner said, “Mauricio is one of the most creative chefs to have worked with us.”  In 2011, Chef Mauricio returned to Mexico where he became the flambe chef at the exclusive Casa Velas Resort in Puerto Vallarta. He eventually started  Fresh,  in January, 2012.  Today, Chef Mauricio splits his time between beautiful Door County, WI and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Chef Mauricio is married to Tori, teacher and marketing coordinator for Fresh.  They have two children, Malaya (8) and Rio (6).

 

 

chef tony and tanyaCHEFS TONY and TANYA: With over 20 years of food experience between them, this couple has an extensive repertoire of recipes and menus to share! Married since 2000, both Tony and Tanya enjoy cooking and are continually learning and experimenting with new foods and recipes. Both have lived and worked throughout Door County at well- known restaurants. Tony and Tanya joined the Fresh team in 2014. They have three children, Greg (20), Michael (14) and Brandon (9).

CHEF TONY: Originally from the state of Guerrero in Mexico (and brother to Chef Mauricio), Chef Tony has been living and working in Door County since 1995. He has worked at Trio restaurant in Egg Harbor, has managed the kitchen at the Cookery in Fish Creek, and is a chef at The Glidden Lodge in Sturgeon Bay. Chef Tony enjoys cooking all types of cuisine, especially foods from his native Mexico.

 

CHEF TANYA: Born and raised in Door County, Chef Tanya has been cooking most of her life. She was a kitchen manager in Sturgeon Bay and was a full- time cook at Door County Coffee and Tea. She enjoys creating in the kitchen and specializes in bakery items, tasty soups and vegetarian meals.
